This FREE Mental Health First Aid course, funded by the North Texas Behavioral Health Authority through state and federal grants, is a skills-based training course that teaches participants about mental health and substance-use challenges, as well as how to help someone experiencing a mental health crisis.
The 8-hour in-person course will be conducted at DeSoto Library, 211 E. Pleasant Run Rd. Suite C, DeSoto, 75115.
To become certified, you must attend the full course, participate and complete the post course work.

Available for any resident of Texas, 18 years or older.
