Tomato Tasting Party

Join us for Westminster Presbyterian Church’s first Tomato Tasting Party to celebrate God’s Garden. There will be many varieties of heirloom tomatoes to taste. Learn about different varieties of tomatoes, their uses and recipes. We will be in the North parking lot near God's Garden.

God’s Garden is a faith garden, grown to be enjoyed by God and the community.

God's Garden began in 2013 with establishment of the first garden plot in land provided by Calvin Community. Today the garden provides 20 garden plots for refugee families and two plots for Westminster.

The garden has been wonderfully successful, involving many volunteers. Over the summer months, our garden plots have produced approximately 20-50 pounds of fresh produce weekly for DMARC while also generating much needed financial resources for DMARC through fresh produce cash donations received from church service attendees on Sunday mornings.
