Dinner and a Show at Marvista Park – August 15
Enjoy a free, family-friendly outdoor performance of The Guardsman by Burien Actors Theatre on Friday, August 15 at 7:00 PM in Marvista Park (19900 4th Ave SW, Normandy Park, WA).
This witty adaptation by Rachel Rene sets Ferenc Molnar’s classic comedy in the totally tubular early 1980s Pacific Northwest. A popular actor, suspicious his actress wife is growing restless, disguises himself as a charming guardsman to test her loyalty—only to spark unexpected romance, chaos, and questions about what’s real in love and theatre.
Make it a dinner-and-a-show evening by bringing takeout from a local restaurant or dining nearby.
Bring a blanket or chair—show runs about 90 minutes.
