The Little Book presents our next showcasing artists: Libby & Joe Crimmings!
From the artists:
"Travel has always been a big part of our lives, personally and professionally. I love adventures, big and small, and exploring new places. For the first time in nearly 20 years, I haven’t taken a significant trip in nearly a year. While I deeply miss these journeys I’ve found tremendous joy in being fully present for small everyday adventure at home and fondness in remembrance of my past travels.
After any trip you have three things - photographs, memories, and souvenirs. Photographs show how it was, memories hold our feelings, and souvenirs remind us of the journey. The pieces in this series, Fragments & Reflections, aims to combine all three into one.
This series is a recollection of experiences in collaboration with my favorite travel partner and husband, Joe Crimmings, and includes his beautiful photographs as the basis of my inspiration and the canvas for my exploration.
The photographs serve as a fragment of our travels and shared experiences, an incomplete, isolated part of the whole. The mixed media serves as a reflection of the emotions, energy and spirit in these moments.
Through this series, We invite you to join us on a journey of memories, a bit of wanderlust, and the profound impact travel can have on our souls forever."
