Open Auditions for BLITHE SPIRIT

Tallgrass Theatre Company (TTC) announces auditions for Blithe Spirit by Noël Coward. The auditions will take place on Sunday, July 13th at 6:30pm and Monday, July 14th, at 6:30pm

The story: Fussy, cantankerous novelist Charles Condomine has remarried but finds himself haunted (literally) by the ghost of his late first wife, Elvira. Clever, insistent and well aware of Charles’ shortcomings, Elvira is called up by a visiting “happy medium,” the eccentric and flighty Madame Arcati. Charles’ current wife, Ruth, remains convinced that it is all an elaborate hoax until…

Show Dates: September 12th through the 28th, 2025, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm, Sundays at 2pm

Details: No need to prepare a monologue, the audition will consist of cuts from the script that will be provided at the theatre. Please arrive 15 mins early to fill out an audition sheet and bring along a current headshot and resume.

Edith: 20 and older
Ruth: early 30s
Charles: mid 30s to late 40s
Dr. Bradman: 40s and older
Mrs. Bradman: 40s and older
Madam Arcati: 30s and older
Elvira: late 20s to early 30s.
