NOLA Jazz Band, feat. Vocalist Jeannine Guillory-Kane - National Act!

Jeannine Guillory-Kane is Hawaiian based acclaimed vocalist in Jazz, Reggae, Pop and R&B. She has performed at venues around the world in Europe, South America and The US.

Her stage and festival performances include the renowned Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, Volcano Jazz Festival in the Big Island, and also appears at the world famous Blue Note Jazz Club on Oahu. Jeannine’s resume also includes being a former vocalist with the internationally known reggae/jazz group “Groundation” which continues to tour the globe.

We are excited about her collaboration for this special concert with The NOLA Jazz Band, whose “gutsy and heartfelt” blues and jazz stylings has earned them a nationwide fan base. This 5 generation, 7 member group led by clarinetist Jeff Kane has played with some of the biggest movers and shakers in the New Orleans, Hot Jazz, and NYC Traditional Jazz scenes including: Bria Skonberg, Marla Dixon and Shotgun Jazz Band, Paul Mehling and Hot Club of San Francisco, Davina & the Vagabonds, and many others. Band members have also played in Europe and at well-known clubs in New Orleans and New York including the Spotted Cat, Bamboula’s, Iridium, and Smalls Jazz Club.
