MRKT District Criterium

Join us in the Historic East Village’s newest addition the MRKT District for a night of Criterium Style Racing. This race will feature a slight change in format and will include eliminator style racing.

Here's how it works:

All registrants will be randomly seeded into smaller fields for qualifying heats that will include a 15min Criterium with the top 5 in each heat moving on to the next round. Riders will be pulled, but don’t fret-- if you do not make the top five in your heat, you will have at least two more chances to make it into the final field. Qualifying heats will continue in short order to keep the action moving and make sure your legs stay fresh. Please note that heats will start at the assigned times in BikeReg, but races will continue after these times. So please, make sure you are able to hang around for your secondary and final races.

An intermission featuring a free kids race will break up the day.

Finally, once the finals are seeded, all participants will go for a 20 min all out sprint for the cash.
