Kids Day of Reading at Big Grove Des Moines

Big Grove is thrilled to be partnering with Everybody Wins! Iowa to bring you a Kids' Day of Reading! Bring your little learners in for an afternoon of literary fun. We will have Rosie the Reader from the Des Moines Public Library, Annie's Foundation giving out FREE books, and a pop-up shop from Beaverdale Books.

Starting at noon, we will have story time with local children's author Damian Beard and the original bookworm herself, Princess Belle will be sharing some of her favorite stories aloud. Belle will be available for photos from 1:30 - 2:00.

This event is free and open to the public. Bring your kiddos for an educational day, while you enjoy a Giant Pretzel and a Neighborhood Beer! And then stay after the event, so your littles can get free ice cream as part of Big Grove's Summer Scoops from 2pm-4pm.
