About the event

DMSFFS Visits Drake Observatory
Join Des Moines Science Fiction & Fantasy Society for an outing to the Drake Observatory on Friday, July 11, at 9:30 PM, after our regular DMSFFS meeting.

The observatory will have a lecture about the James Webb Space Telescope at 9:30, followed by telescope viewing if weather permits.

The observatory is in the Waveland golf course. The entrance is located behind the McCollum Waveland Tennis Complex off Polk Blvd. Gates open at 9:15.
