May 7th Lunch n' Learn (Drake University) & Risk Management

On Wednesday, May 7th a combined monthly meeting, educational Lunch 'n Learn (LnL), and training webinar sponsored by the Des Moines Chapter of the AGA. Lunch (BYOL) begins at 11:30 am, followed by a brief business meeting. Location Drake Campus, Ailber Hall, Room 204. The LnL presentation begins at 12:00 pm followed by the webinar from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.

Lunch ‘n Learn: “Iowa Department of Administrative Services & the Office of the General Counsel Overview” by Nathan Reckman from DAS. The LnL presentation begins at 12:00 pm and is being offered in person & virtually this month. Parking Passes are available for in-person attendees, please select the parking ticket type to get a pass emailed to you prior to the event.

This session will discuss the use of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning to enhance audit readiness. It will feature an example from the Department of Air Force on how to leverage data in ADVANA to demonstrate the complete and accuracy of the Universe of Transactions. The session will also explore other potential application of Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning within the Department of Defense to enhance audit readiness and financial management procedures.
