First Friday "The Environment"

On Friday, May 2nd Mainframe Studios will be hosting our monthly First Friday!

Along with open-studios of Mainframe artists, food, drinks, and free entertainment, "The Environment" exhibition will be opening this evening.

This show will explore humankind’s relationship with, and impact on the natural world. From the vastness of nature to altered landscapes shaped by human activity, works will engage with the environment, through observed, imagined, or idealized views.

The exhibition is curated by Diane Kunzler, an artist deeply connected to nature and whose work often reflects her interest in detailed observations of nature.

The event will feature live music by Fred Love, food and drinks by Tangerine Food Company, Reyes Tamales, BaanVaan Ice Cream and Not Your Average Bar. Plus, an interactive art activity with special guest animals from Spock’s Sanctuary!
