I’m excited to announce our October 18th day Event Theme: Imra’s Monster Mash!
We wanted to have a bit of extra fun this event dressing up and having a great time at Needwood and Cedar Hill has given us not only a wonderful reason to do so with Imra’s latest new headware acquisition but also a really fun story hook into further exploring and adventuring at the South Pole!
Players who wish to fight on the side of good need to do only one thing, show up and get ready to have a great time! Of course, Taking to the high seas and with the spirit of Cedar Hill behind them does make the adventurers want to dress more piratey than typical, so in the Halloween spirit it is HIGHLY encouraged to be your character, but a pirate for fun and flavor!
Can’t see yourself as a pirate or do you have a monster costume/character you’ve been itching to play? Come and fight against the players as your own fun, custom monster! We’re not just limiting ourselves to yetis and snow beasts—come be whatever you want—flex your monster building skills or your evil voice and serve as an obstacle! A skill point will be rewarded to all that sport a monster/bad guy costume and we’ll have a comically large bucket of candy for the winner of best costume!
Monster stat blocks should be organizer approved, and built using skills and abilities already present in the game. Around 4-5 tier 6 or lower abilities, with clear resistances or vulnerabilities.
STILL NOT SOLD? Don’t want to fight in a costume, don’t want to be good? Dress in Blue. It wouldn’t be an event for/with Cedar Hill without the return of THE BLUE HORIZON—our longest standing NPC hired thugs. A skill point will also be rewarded to those who Blue Horizon it up.
Should be a fun time everyone! Excited to see what you all come up with.

A note about parking, and where to go in the park: We can park in the 3rd lot, but last event it was pretty full, and mostly we parked along Needwood Lake Cir and Beach Dr. Our game play will take place primarily on the field for this event. Check in will be on the field. The Merchants Guild will form an encampment along the path on one side of the field. Bring a camp chair, or blanket to relax on, and plenty of water.
