The annual Montgomery County pesticide & nutrient management procrastinator's meeting for the turf, nursery, & landscape industries.

About this Event

University of Maryland Extension, in cooperation with Montgomery College, is pleased to announce the 30th Annual Procrastinator's Pesticide and Urban Nutrient Management Conference. The meeting will be in person only. Topics include: Contaminants in our soil amendments; ornamental diseases, W**d control, personal protective equipment, pesticide spills, and an update from our Plant Diagnostic Lab.

Yes, this year is a true procrastinator's meeting. And yes, this will still count for Maryland pesticide credits!

Available Credits:

Maryland Pesticide: 8 credits in each of the following categories: Core, 3A (exterior ornamentals), 3C (turf), 5 (aquatic), 6 (right of way), & 10 (demonstration/research)

Maryland Professional Fertilizer Applicator: 2 credits

Maryland Licensed Tree Expert (LTE): 6 credits

D.C. Pesticide: 4 credits in each of the following categories: 00 (core), 3A (exterier ornamentals), 3B (lawns/turf), 3C (interior ornamentals), 7A (industrial/institutional/structural/health-related), 7B (wood-destroyers), 7E (rodent), 11H (mosquito)

Virginia Pesticide: Approved for categories 3-A (ornamentals), 3-B (turf), and 60 (registered technician)

International Society of Arboriculture (ISA): 0.75 BCMA Science, 0.75 BCMA Practice, 3.75 BCMA Management, 5.25 Certified Arborist, 2.75 Utility Specialist, 5.25 Municipal Specialist, 5.25 Climber Specialist, & 5.25 Aerial Lift Specialist
