No Setting Sun - "Where The Line Is" EP Relese Show

Come join us for our "Where The Line Is" EP release show on Sat 18th Oct at The Vic Inn!

Emerging as one of Derby’s most exciting rock acts, No Setting Sun blend the timeless energy of classic rock ‘n’ roll with a bold, modern take on post-grunge and hard rock.

Propelled by riff-driven guitars, powerful rhythms, and memorable vocal hooks, their sound echoes the intensity of bands like Alter Bridge, Soundgarden, Velvet Revolver, and The Wildhearts.

The band gained national recognition when their debut single “The Lions Fight” was featured on BBC Introducing—renowned for spotlighting the UK’s hottest emerging talent. Their debut EP, “From the Earth”, earned praise from ERB (Emerging Rock Bands) Magazine, who awarded it 8/10, describing the band as “a band not to miss live” (December 2022 issue).

Also joining us are Derby Rock & Blues group Beggars Bliss and Nottingham southern hard rockers Smoke Over Elsewhere

Beggars Bliss started with one rule: if it’s not fun, it’s not worth doing. That energy runs through everything they play – tight as hell, endlessly expressive, and driven by the pure joy of making music together.

Smoke Over Elsewhere bring their own blend of southern hard rock to the table, for fans of Black Stone Cherry, Clutch, and The Cadillac Three they blend hard hitting riffs, booming bass lines, groovy beats and some signature country twang to create their Own Brand of Southern.
