Get ready to cleanse your mind and spirit in the Men's Purification Lodge, a unique experience to connect with your inner self.
What is a purification lodge?
A purification lodge is a small hut made with natural materials then covered to create a dark sheltered space that will be heated by fire and hot rocks. The ancient ceremony is performed within this structure. Some cultures call this a purification ceremony or simply 'a sweat'.

The lodge is a ceremonial ‘womb space’ and you may feel ‘reborn’ or renewed ready for the next phase of your life.

About the host
This ceremony will be run by Steve Baker, who has many years of experience holding purification lodge experiences across the UK. He has been invited to to The Land (a wellbeing and nature connection centre in Derbyshire) by Belper Men's Circle but this event is open to any men who feel drawn to take part.
