Free entry.
Join us for live music and dance at Derby Market Hall, as part of Derby Folk Festival Fringe.
Derby Folk Festival brightens the city centre each October, bringing fantastic artists from the broad world of folk music right into the heart of the city.
Alongside the ticketed elements, there’s an expanded free “fringe” programme, allowing people to access different parts of the festival with no entry fees.
As part of that, there’s music and dance in Derby Market Hall through Saturday and Sunday – bringing a showcase of performances indoors… and it’s all free.
SATURDAY 12noon-9PM
A day of music on the stage, curated by Furthest From The Sea. Featuring a range of acts from around the region.
Dance displays, curated by FOLK3D, will take place through the day.
SUNDAY 10AM-3PM
Dance displays, and even a ceilidh, curated by FOLK3D, will take place through the day.
ALL WEEKEND
Join the imaginative team at FOLK3D for a delightful workshop in the heart of Derby Market Hall.
