Join us for free workshops and family-friendly fun as part of the opening week of events at Derby Market Hall!

Events include:

TUE 27 & WED 28 MAY

✂️ Fun drop-in craft workshop from Babbling Vagabonds.

🏴‍☠️ Get crafty with family-friendly workshops from Furthest from the Sea.

🏠 Create and decorate a paper market stall with artist Jenny Stevenson and add it to our display of the venue.

🐝 Learn how to make your own eco-friendly, beeswax wraps for wrapping food with textile activist Abigail Wastie. (Wednesday only).

🎭 Walkabout performances of The Curing Chemists from Babbling Vagabonds.

THU 29 MAY

🥁 Have a go at playing the drums at our percussion workshop, run by local music tutor Dan Williams.

🐏 Sculpt your own clay ram to take home in a clay modelling workshop with local ceramic artist Elaine Lim-Newton. Suitable for all ages and abilities.

🎶 The Lost Boys will host two songwriting workshops: one for families, and another for grown-ups.
