Parent & Me Melting Ice Cream Cake

About this class:

In this hands-on class, you and your little one will team up to decorate your very own “melting” ice cream cake masterpiece. Owner and Pastry Chef Mayra Garcia, will walk you through step-by-step techniques to create a fun, drippy design that looks like a scoop of ice cream is sliding right off the top! This class is for children ages 5+ accompanied by an adult who will assist the little baker.

Meet Your Instructor:

Pastry Chef Mayra Garcia has been designing cakes, cookies, and sweets for as long as she can remember. She has competed on Food Network’s Christmas Cookie Challenge and has been featured local morning shows. She has a passion for helping others learn the joy and art of cake and cookie decorating and she is thrilled to have an opportunity to share her skills with you! All The Details:

• Age Level: 5+ with a parent/adult
• Skill Level: Beginner
• Each ticket includes 1 adult and 1 child. If you wish to bring more than 1 child to the class, there is an additional charge of $50. Your 2nd child will receive their own cake. Please contact celebrateME! directly to purchase your ticket to ensure we can accommodate an additional child.
• Aprons, all supplies and tools are provided for use during class.
• We will provide a box to take your cake home in
• If you have long hair, you may want to tie it back.
• Class requires a minimum of 4 teams and there is a maximum of 8 teams. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
• Class will run approximately 2 hours. Please note that the class is hands-on and may run over or under schedule.
• Please plan accordingly and arrive on time! Students who arrive over 15 minutes late will be turned away.

Cancellation Policy:

Changes and cancellations...we know life happens so we try our best to be flexible while being fair to our instructors who purchase supplies and bake for each student. Full refunds or credits are available for cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the class. If you need to cancel after 5 days but at least 48 hours in advance, we can offer you a credit for a future class. We cannot offer any refunds or credits for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class.
