We will have a limited supply of additional books for guests to purchase in store. Only a book ticket guarantees you a copy of the book.

If you are unable to attend the event after purchasing a ticket, you are required to pick up your copy of the book (with proof of purchase from your event registration) within 7 days after the event date. If the book is not picked up by that date, you relinquish your copy to Tattered Cover Book Store.

In Calling It Off, Katherine Rose Woller, an “almost bride” herself, uses her hard-fought growth, honest reflection, vulnerability, and ultimately flawed human experience to highlight the realities of what it’s like to call off a wedding. By sharing her transformative journey through the fire of a failed engagement and back, she draws on the relatable yet profoundly stigmatized experience of calling off a wedding to illustrate the importance of trusting your gut, stepping through fear, and living authentically for you.Katherine truthfully and humorously represents herself as one woman, offering one possible perspective, one possible course of action, and ultimately the one thing that makes it all worth it: the knowledge that if you choose yourself and trust your intuition, there is hope after all. Her mission is to further the conversation around this neglected topic, empower women to choose themselves, provide inspiration, and create a sense of belonging so that others in a similar situation don’t feel so alone in the world of weddings to come.

As a lifelong learner and endlessly curious individual, Katherine Rose Woller has lived many lives. From art gallerina to teacher to ski industry professional to marketing executive and now author, Katherine has forever remained focused on the unifying power of storytelling. She fervently believes in the liberating impact and life affirming power that sharing one’s experiences can have and embraces both the chaos and peace of what that means in practice.

Katherine is a peripatetic wanderer at heart, traveling the globe with her family as they seek to fill each moment with beautiful adventures–laughing, growing, and evolving on a daily basis. She is a passionate athlete, dedicating time to running, yoga, and skiing in her joyful pursuit of mental, physical, and spiritual wellness. In every sense, she is a woman on the move.
