Eco Explorers on Wheels - Bike with a Ranger

Come join Ranger Collins on an interpretive bike ride through Adams County’s Open Space & Trails system. This program will be an active and engaging way for visitors to explore Adams County while learning about raptor ecology, aquatic biology, open space management issues, and more. This beginner level ride will be approximately 3-4 miles long on a mixture of gravel, dirt, and paved trail. All ages welcome! Please come prepared with proper clothing, water, snacks, and sunscreen. Arriving 15 minutes early is highly recommended to unload bicycles and be ready to ride at 10 am sharp.

Location: Elaine T. Valente Open Space Trailhead

Time: 10:00am-12:00pm

Participants: 15 maximum

Audience: All ages, guardians must accompany participating youth

• Adults required for youth participation

Suggested Gear: Water, sunscreen, snacks, proper clothing, bike
