B-Side: RUMTUM & Uhl

B-Side Music Fridays is a live music series on Friday nights in July and August where Colorado musicians perform in MCA Denver’s rooftop garden. Enjoy an intimate performance from some of the city’s top performers while sipping crafted cocktails and relaxing on the best rooftop deck in Denver.

Rooftop doors open at 6:30PM, but feel free to come earlier to check out the exhibition!

RUMTUM (headliner)

RUMTUM is an electronic producer and multi-instrumentalist known for his distinct approach to melodic composition. Drawing inspiration from classic IDM, Electronica, and Downtempo, his music blends saturated synths, hypnotic loops, and organic percussion into immersive soundscapes. Bass and drums carry the narrative, while lush samples and synth layers create a deep, atmospheric tone. Since the project began, RUMTUM has released music through labels like Lefse, Wax Thematique, Gold Robot, and Bastard Jazz Records. He has shared stages with Thundercat, Khruangbin, Tycho, ODESZA, and many other industry icons, with international shows now on the horizon. His upcoming project, The Glue of Everything, pairs music with original paintings, animation, and live visuals—an ongoing exploration of sound and vision that pushes boundaries both in the studio and on stage.

Uhl (opener)

Showcasing her operatic background through a pop lens, Uhl makes dynamic music that is as informed by Mozart and Puccini as it is by art pop divas Kate Bush and Annie Lennox. The results are enigmatic, dramatic, and transportive and will certainly appeal to fans of contemporaries like Weyes Blood, Perfume Genius, and Caroline Polachek.

Born and raised in Colorado, Demi Harvey is known for creating community through her social media influence, events, and partnerships. She has a deep appreciation for the Colorado music scene and has built up artists through her work with Indie 102.3, The Underground Music Showcase and more music focused organizations across the city.
