B-Side: Cherokee Social & Ritmo Cascabel

B-Side Music Fridays is a live music series on Friday nights in July and August where Colorado musicians perform in MCA Denver’s rooftop garden. Enjoy an intimate performance from some of the city’s top performers while sipping crafted cocktails and relaxing on the best rooftop deck in Denver.

Rooftop doors open at 6:30PM, but feel free to come earlier to check out the exhibition!

Cherokee Social (headliner)

Cherokee Social is Julian Navarro and Alex Creighton. They formed a fast commitment to each other and to using their music to bring communities together every time they played live. Within just five months of playing together they had their first sold out show with many more to follow. The pair’s relentless stage energy and clever combination of blues guitar, pop songwriting, and indigenous influenced percussion has landed them a growing dedicated fanbase in a short time. Currently they are in the depths of creating their debut album that is sure to bring a unique sound to the realm of indie pop.

Ritmo Cascabel (opener)

Ritmo Cascabel burst onto Denver’s music scene in late 2021 bringing a fresh fusion of cumbia, western, and rock ‘n’ roll that quickly became a local sensation. Their semi-regular “Cumbia Nights” have become a vibe on the south broadway strip, showcasing latin bands, djs, music, food and culture at beloved Denver venue: the Hi-Dive. Paired with their unique style, the band’s high-energy, dance-inducing sound has captivated audiences across North America and beyond.
