Our One Small Step Pub Walk 2025, proudly raising money for Foundation for Prader-Willi Research UK, is set to be our biggest yet, and we want you to be a part of it as we aim to make history.
We are delighted to be organising our 11th annual charity pub walk for the Foundation for Prader-Willi Research UK on the 12th July 2025. So far, with our combined efforts we have raised just over a £167,000 and we would love to continue to see this figure grow. The research the FPWR UK finances is imperative to making the lives of those affected by Prader-Willi Syndrome more manageable.
Here’s what you need to know
Date: Saturday 12th July, 10.30am start
Departing from: Fletchers Arms, Denton
Ending at: Jolly Sailor, Davenport
Distance: 10 miles, but feel free to join along the route
Price: £18 per adult / £8 for children 11 and under
Price includes t-shirt, complimentary breakfast, refreshments, snacks, and BBQ, plus medal, party, and £10 donated in your name to FPWR
Not only is this a wonderful day for our pubs and the local community but it’s a great chance to catch up with friends (whilst getting your steps in) and to raise money for this important charity that is so close to our hearts. You, along with your friends and family, can be part of the big day – we’ll provide breakfast, lunch, snacks, and everything else that will help you get through the big day: all you need to do is enter, and bring your walking shoes.
This year’s event is on Saturday 12th July and will follow the same format as last year. Registration opens at 9.30am at the Fletchers Arms ready to set off at 10.30am.
The Route
From 9.30am registration opens at Fletchers Arms, with breakfast included
10.30am we depart from Fletchers Arms
11.30am to 12pm arrive at Spread Eagle for complimentary soft drinks, hot drinks, and snacks and a short break
12.30pm to 1.15pm arrive at Puss in Boots for a complimentary outdoor BBQ, including our famous burgers.
1.30pm to 3pm finish the walk at Jolly Sailor, where we’ll be throwing a celebratory party including music, bouncy castle, raffle, and medal collection for all finishers.
If for any reason you’re unable to complete the full route, you can join us at any point – many people join us for the final leg of the walk between Puss in Boots and Jolly Sailor.
