Next To Jackie Kennedy, Always Never Stays, My Dad Died and Me For You When the Lights Are Out

As pounding drum beats merged with the wail of an electric guitar, 20-year-old vocalist Jackson MaGill shouted the lyrics with fierce intensity during rehearsals; the small rehearsal room amplified the echoes, making the sound almost tangible in the air.

Local band nexttojackiekennedy released its first album on Feb. 7, covering themes like community, being there for each other and solidarity.
