April 29 is National Villains Day… and we’re celebrating hard. Because we all know villains are always the best characters, right? 😈

Join us for a fun night with local author Sydney Applegate, author of The Deragon Duology—a romantasy retelling of Sleeping Beauty (The Fall of Jericho) and Phantom of the Opera (The Rise of Deragon) filled with love, magic, and villainous main characters.🖤

Sydney will be answering questions all about her duology and what it takes to write a truly good villain. ✍️

Come in costume (cosplay your fave villain or just dress up in villain vibes) and you’ll be entered into our costume contest! 🧥 Best dressed wins a prize, of course!

We’ll also have a calligraphy pop-up ✒️ (included with your ticket!) where you can get your favorite Deragon book—or any paperback or paper item—professionally personalized by the amazing @nerdladydraws
