Blue Lotus Ceremony: Celebrating the Sacred Flower of Rebirth

This ceremony is a celebration of many things:

And the culmination of my deep communion with this plant spirit, preparing to share it with you.

Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea) is not a true lotus. It's actually a sacred water lily, revered since the time of the Nile temples, known for its gentle ability to move stagnant emotional energy and bring about a sense of rebirth. This flower is a shimmer on still water.

For me, she has become a teacher of beauty as medicine, and I’m honored to invite you into ceremony with her to share my relationship with you and to teach you to culivate your own reciprocity with this loving ally.

I have been preparing a variety of ways for you to connect with this plant spirit, so come prepared to immerse yourself. Tea, oils, and more.

I’ve been in relationship with Blue Lotus for nearly three years, but these past few lunar cycles of intentional communion have deepened the conversation in ways I couldn’t have anticipated. This ceremony marks the close of that cycle and the beginning of something entirely new. In many ways, it feels like a personal rebirth.

With my 29th solar return on the 26th, I can’t think of a better way to honor this threshold than by beginning to share Blue Lotus in ceremony with others. I hope you'll join me :)
