Alternative Gifts Fair | November 7–9 at First United Methodist Church of Denton
📍Monroe Gym (Sycamore Street side)
🗓️ Fri: 5–8pm ($5 First Look) | Sat: 9am–3pm | Sun: 9am–1pm
🛍️ Shop once, give twice!
Join us for 3 days of socially responsible shopping at the Alternative Gifts Fair. With more than 30 non-profit booths representing local and global causes, you’ll find handmade gifts, crafts, and artisan goods that give back in meaningful ways. Every purchase supports a mission—helping meet critical needs and uplift communities both locally and around the world.
🎨 Want to donate your art?
Each year, local artists donate unique, handmade items—like jewelry, textiles, and pottery—to support a featured nonprofit. This year, proceeds from the Community & Congregational Artisans Booth will benefit Friends of Shiloh Garden, which fights food insecurity by growing and donating fresh produce to local pantries and charities.
📍 Location & Parking:
The fair is held in Monroe Gym, on the Sycamore Street side of the church campus. Parking is available:
• In the small lot across Sycamore
• On the street
• In the large lot at Industrial & Mulberry
The most accessible entrance is under the breezeway between Monroe Gym and the rest of the church campus, near Sycamore Street.
