Guided Hike on the Prairie Corridor at Haines Branch

Join the Lower Platte South NRD for a guided evening hike through the tallgrass prairie at the Honvlez Prairie on the Prairie Corridor at Haines Branch. Conservation professionals from the Lower Platte South NRD, Spring Creek Prairie Audubon Center, and Pioneers Park Nature Center will highlight native plants, wildlife, and habitat restoration along a mowed trail.

• No restrooms on site
• Rain or shine event (In the event of unsafe weather, cancellations will be communicated via the email provided at registration.)

Registration Required:Due to limited parking, registration is required. Carpooling is strongly encouraged.

What to Bring:

• Bug spray
• Sunscreen
• Refillable water bottle
• Binoculars (optional)
• Closed-toe shoes for uneven terrain
