About the event

Dedication of the Frontier Village Blacksmith Shop in Douglas Hamrick’s honor.

The museum will be naming their onsite blacksmith shop “Douglas Hamrick’s Blacksmith Shop.” This dedication in memoriam will include speeches and Blacksmithing!
We understand the unfortunate timing of this event but encourage any and all who knew Douglas to come out and enjoy the day with us. Bring your tools and if you wish, your forge and anvil and make something in Douglas’s honor. Thank you!
