Join us for National Night Out 2025!
On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, neighborhoods across Surry County are invited to unite with thousands of communities nationwide for the 42nd Annual National Night Out (NNO) crime and drug prevention event. This year, NNO will engage over 16,000 communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories, Canada, and military bases worldwide, with an anticipated participation of over 38 million people.
National Night Out aims to:
Raise awareness about crime and drug prevention
Foster support and involvement in local anti-crime initiatives
Strengthen neighborhood bonds and police-community partnerships
Send a clear message to criminals that our community is vigilant and organized
Activities kick off at 5:30 p.m. on August 5, 2025. We encourage all Surry County residents to lock their doors, turn on outside lights, and join us outdoors for an evening of camaraderie with neighbors and local law enforcement. There will be police demos, fun activities, free food, and vendors.
