Phil Varca and The Slam Jammers

A 3-piece rockin' blues band whose Stevie Ray/Hendrix influences can be easily recognized. 2024 marks 35 years together and they have played thousands of live shows and are known for their high energy performances. A typical "concert set" will include almost all original music with a few tribute songs to those who have inspired us.

PERFORMER BIO:
Phil Varca & The Slam Jammers are an original group based in Long Island, NY and have been together for almost 30 years, playing our brand of Rockin' Blues and Blues/Rock. While we've played a few thousand shows of all types/sizes over the years, the past few years we've focused primarily on festivals and support/opening slots for national touring acts. Most recently we supported Indigenous on their last tour as well as Robin Trower locally on his last two tours. We've also been billed and appeared with Buddy Guy, Joe Bonamassa, Chris Duarte, Dave Mason, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, NRBQ, Double Trouble, Shemekia Copeland and Popa Chubby.
