Natural Impressions-Casting with Nature

Join co-owner and resident Artist, Sandy Gray-Murray for this art making experience....
In this class, guests will collect nature from the surrounding forest and use it to create a beautiful plaster cast roughly 10" x 15". The process will include a 25-30 minute nature walk (if mobility is a concern please reach out for options) to gather nature. Next steps include rolling out a slab of clay to press the nature into. After the nature is pressed, guests will mix and pour plaster into the cast. While the plaster sets, guests will be able to sit out in our tasting room to visit, enjoy a glass or a tasting, partake in some of our snack items or enjoy any food you bring. After about an hour, guests will then remove the plaster from the cast to view their beautifully elegant pieces. Framing options will be available.
