Walk with a DOC - Every 3rd Monday of the Month
This event is FREE and open to the public.

DeLand Foot and Leg Center (DFALC) is encouraging VOLUSIA and LAKE County residents to take a step toward better health with Walk with a Doc, a health program that brings doctors and patients together to walk every 3rd Monday at 4:45 pm Arrival then 5:00 – 5:30 pm Walk, at Oakdale Cemetery, in Historic Downtown DeLand N. Orange Ave. Entrance to Oakdale Cemetery.

What’s really exciting is that we’ve partnered with the cemetery to highlight curated tombstone tours during our walks. Each month, we’ll feature historic markers, some dating back to 1882, which ties directly into our monthly Book Club discussions. Participants can enjoy the walk while learning about the fascinating stories behind these tombstones, connecting our local history for a fun and engaging community event.
