This page is strictly for those who want to camp with us.
If you want to participate in the hiking portion only, please use the other event link refered to as Hiking and camping for the homeless.
For camping only, select going here and send us a message with how many people will be in your campsite. You can have up to 6 people in your site. No vehicles allowed at the site. Parking is nearby.
This is primitive camping, no pop up campers or RVs. Tents only. No vehicles allowed at the campsites other than for the purposes of loading and unloading. Parking is close by however. No glass containers allowed.
Camping will begin on Friday April 25th at 2:00 pm and end on Sunday April 27th at noon. There are restrooms at the campground. There's at least one campsite that is very close to the bathroom and has a paved sidewalk. If you require this particular spot please let me know ASAP so that I can save this one just for you. There are 2 others that are close as well but do not have a paved walkway.
I need everyone to let us know ASAP if you will be camping. Although 6 individuals are allowed per spot, I know that many would prefer to have their own individual spot. Especially families.
Once the spots are filled I will update in the comments section of this event. Feel free to message with questions!
Please bring your own supplies, including the tent, food and water and plenty of big spray!
We will have scheduled events during the weekend for you, (like s'mores around the campfire), however you're not obligated to participate in them.
The park offers, camping, additional hiking, and fishing.There is also a boat and kayak launch. Please call the park for additional information.
We'll have a fire going Friday and Saturday night. Bring s'mores or anything else you want to burn up 😄
