Pumpkin Jar Basket -Introduction to Basket Weaving

Celebrate the season with this unique and cozy basket weaving class! In this 3-hour workshop, you’ll craft a charming pumpkin jar basket—featuring a custom-made black walnut base and lid, topped with a 3D printed handle. The finished basket will measure approximately 6" in diameter and 9" tall (at the handle).
Your basket’s spokes will be pre-glued to the base, making it easy to dive right into the weaving process. Using a glass bubble bowl as the form, you’ll weave the sides with a classic chase weave technique, then finish with a neat folded rim. The glass bowl stays in the basket, giving it both style and function.
