Grapes are sourced from premier and grand cru vineyards, and 20–30% reserve wines are used in non-vintage blends for added depth and consistency.

Unlike many Champagne houses, Lanson blocks malolactic fermentation, preserving vibrant acidity and a fresh, energetic style. Low dosage levels further emphasize purity and terroir, while extended lees aging brings complexity and texture.
