Champagne Agrapart: Taste the quiet force of this esteemed property

Champagne Pascal Agrapart was founded in 1894. Pascal took over the business from his father in 1984, and is working to pass the reigns on to his son, now employed at the domaine.

Their range comes primarily from the best sites in the Grand Cru village of Avize. There Chardonnay shows best, so the selection from Agrapart highlights that variety. The practice at the domaine:

“Our winegrower’s approach is natural. Our vineyard soils have always been maintained through ploughing and every year we add compost made from local ingredients to vineyard. The organic life of the soil assures the health and productivity of the vineyard. Our Champagne wines are neither fined nor filtered. They are bottled at the domain and are hand riddled.”
