Hickory Sticks Open

Now in its 13th year, this sell-out event draws plenty of locals as well as eager players from across the country who want to test their skills with the old equipment — a humble reminder of the skill once required to score par. Legendary sports announcer Jim Nantz often makes a guest appearance and has announced playoff rounds to the delight of the players.

Tournament format is two-person best ball. The tournament will be divided into two flights (AM and PM).

Aside from the thrill of the game, players also enjoy world-class culinary treats from Hay’s Place, libations and signature cocktails from our generous corporate sponsors and sweeping views of the bay from Pebble Beach’s famed short course, The Hay.
