Conjunto Primavera

This concert is part of the Toyota Summer Concert Series at the San Diego County Fair and all tickets purchased include same-day admission to the Fair.

Conjunto Primavera is one of regional Mexican music’s most beloved norteño-sax groups, founded in Ojinaga, Chihuahua in 1978 by saxophonist Juan Domínguez. With their signature blend of soaring sax melodies and heart-on-sleeve romance, the band helped define the genre’s modern sound—delivering decades of fan favorites like “Necesito Decirte” and “Actos de un Tonto” that have become staples at parties, weddings, and packed dance floors.

After rising from local border-state dance halls to international stages, Conjunto Primavera has earned major industry recognition, including the Billboard Latin Music Lifetime Achievement Award (2008) and a Latin Grammy for Best Norteño Album (2014)—proof that their timeless songs still hit just as hard live.
