On July 6th, Emily—a single mom of two, including a 4-year-old on the spectrum—was in a serious accident that totaled her only car. That car was her escape from domestic violence, her work transportation, and her family’s lifeline. After recently losing her job due to government cuts, she’s now fighting to provide and protect her kids without reliable transportation.
