Join us on Saturday, December 6 for a full day of Christmas fun — starting bright and early with the Dashing Through Defiance 5K, followed by the beloved Christmas Parade, and live music all afternoon with Joe Metzka at Good News Brewing.
🎽 5K Registration & Race Info
• Registration tables open at 8 AM — first 200 participants receive a jolly red Santa suit to wear as they run or walk!
• Races begin 9–10:30 AM

🍺 After the Dash — Gather at Good News Brewing!
Doors open early at 9 AM with Hot Cocoa, Boozy Coffee, Bloody Marys, and craft beer.
Kitchen opens at 11 AM — grab a pizza, stay for the parade, and enjoy a festive afternoon with live music by Joe Metzka!
🎄 Christmas Parade
The Defiance Christmas Parade kicks off at Noon, rolling right past Good News Brewing — a perfect spot to gather with friends, family, and pups to enjoy the view!
Please note that, in keeping with Defiance’s parade guidelines, outside coolers aren’t permitted along the route. Be sure to stay on our side of the street for easy access to drinks, food, and restrooms while you watch the fun roll by.
🎶 Live Music with Joe Metzka
As soon as the parade wraps up, stick around for live music with Joe Metzka — he’ll keep the festive vibes going from 1–4 PM with soulful blues and holiday favorites.
