Join us for Inspired by the Land: Art in Parks, a vibrant new event celebrating creativity, nature, and community at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park on Saturday, June 14, from 11 AM to 4 PM. Held during California State Parks Week, this free, family-friendly festival features hands-on workshops, live music, guided hikes, and a pop-up art fair with local artists and makers.
Workshops and guided activities will take place throughout the park and along scenic trails, inviting participants to explore calligraphy with natural inks, ice tie-dye, nature journaling, knitting, and photography. Some workshops are drop-in friendly in the main event area, while others include short hikes to redwood groves and historic sites with advanced sign-ups. For the full lineup and times, visit napavalleystateparks.org/inspired-by-the-land.
Enjoy food from RayRay’s Tacos and live music and ambient soundscape mixes by Joe Shoemaker and Tummo.
Families can enjoy a dedicated kids’ art and craft zone by Nimbus Arts, and other drop-in activities. Pet lovers are invited to bring a photo—or a leashed, well-behaved pet—for a live watercolor portrait by exhibiting artist Pearl Heitman.
The event features a diverse lineup of local artists and makers offering nature-inspired work in wood, ceramics, watercolor, mixed media, photography, jewelry, and more. Among the artists participating are Alyssa Minko, Art Revolution by Tannia, RBAnderson Art, Cindy Worthington, Crystal Lynn Collins, Dar Merles Art, Debbie Meijer, Donna Higgins, Heart N Soul Galleries, Hummingbird & Herb, Isabel Soloaga, Jacob Zúñiga, Jayne’s Art Jungle, Kaci's Kraft, Maddy Blumberg, Elements by MC Parra, M & M Artworks, Megan Peabody, Creative Crayons and Crafts, Michael McLaughlin, John McLaughlin, Nuttercutter Woodworks, Pawtraits by Pearl, Perfectly Imperfect, Reverie and Roots, Samanta Art, Savage Art, Stephanie Small, Stuck on You Permanent Jewelry, Strawberry Sister, Susan Loomis, TIMBERBOARDS, Tarasance, The Remnants Napa, Up North Pottery, Whit McLeod, Wild Hare Copper, Your Spirit Rocks! —and even more to discover on site.
