GCHWC’s Annual "Summer Daze" Picnic & Downhill Races

Get ready for the Greater Cincinnati Hot Wheels Club's Annual "Summer
Daze" Picnic & Downhill Races

📅 Date: Saturday, September 13th
📍 Location: Bechtold Park Shelter #3 (near the volleyball court)
🍔 Picnic: Starts at 3:00 PM
Cost: Free for guests, however please RSVP by Friday 9/12 at 5pm so
we know how much food to by.

We’ll have grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, and dessert for our
guests. Please remember to bring a drink of your choice (non-alcoholic
per park rules)

After eating, it’s time for downhill Hot Wheels racing with five
exciting events on the club's custom two lane track:

1. Case Race – Pick your racer at random from our batch of new,
carded cars ($2 entry per car), then race 'em!. Winner gets an
unopened 2025 Mainline Case.
2. Formula Race – This race is open to any Hot Wheels ’68 Lotus Type
49 casting
3. Color race – This year, we're featuring any WHITE Hot Wheels that
fits on the track.
4. Front, Back, Front – Run your car downhill frontwards, then
backwards, then frontwards.
5. Loop to Loop to Loop to Loop – Entries will be challenged to do
multiple loops and still cross the finish line!

*Note that all cars entered should be stock / unmodified (no additions
or weight) 1/64 scale castings and will need to fit on the track /
through the starting gate. We will not allow "Faster than Ever"
castings, Drag Buses or Ferrari F40's in any event unless otherwise
noted.
**Races are single elimination until the final two cars are left. For
the final race of each category, the cars will run three times and the
car with the best record wins!
