Oakdale Square Fall Cleanup

Join us to give our historic Square a little sprucing up. Light trash pickup, sweeping the walkways and cleaning up some brush. The Oakdale Common and veteran’s monument needs some garden bed cleaning, pruning of bushes and planting some mums. I have been spending the last few weeks pulling a lot of invasive species, so that will be done before this cleanup. However, the plants left in the beds need some TLC after a tough hot and dry summer. The brick walkways in the common need to be de-weeded and swept. Bring along brooms, weeding tools, and gloves. Sunscreen and bug spray is recommended. Please help if you can! Thank you.
