Shelf Life: A BYOBook Club

Bring what you’re reading and join us for a cozy gathering at The Landing, located at 211 College Dr., Decorah. This free event is sponsored by the Oneota Valley Literary Foundation and is held on the first Thursday of each month from 5:30 - 6:30pm.


Shelf Life is all about sharing stories and connecting with fellow book lovers - just like your favorite book club, but without the homework! Inspired by both the lasting power of great stories and the idea of sharing a cozy spot on the bookshelf with other readers, Shelf Life is all about community, conversation, and celebrating the stories we love. We encourage you to bring your most recent read to chat about or simply drop in to enjoy the welcoming atmosphere.


While you’re here, savor a treat or beverage from The Landing’s businesses, like The Buzz and Justin’s. Whether you’re looking to share your favorite book or discover your next one, you’ll find a warm and inviting space at Shelf Life. Come as you are - no required reading, just good conversation and community.
