From the Director: Our season begins with a celebration of American music on the shores of Lake Decatur in the Devon Amphitheater with our annual Labor Day Pops Concert.

We’ll explore the wild west with Aaron Copland, the streets of New York City with Leonard Bernstein, and smoke-filled jazz clubs with Cole Porter and the contemporary music scene with recent sensation Laufey and pop superstar Sara Bareilles.

Featured will be Millikin faculty vocalist Alex Manfredo and students from the Decatur Youth Symphony and One Voice, Millikin’s award-winning vocal jazz ensemble.
