Prayer for Protection (Based on Psalm 91)
Heavenly Father,
I come to You today seeking Your divine shelter and protection,
for Your Word says that whoever dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Lord, I choose to dwell in Your presence.
I declare that You are my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.
Surely You will deliver me from every trap of the enemy and from deadly disease.
You will cover me with Your feathers, and under Your wings I will find refuge—Your faithfulness is my shield and my protection.
I will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness,
nor the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
A thousand may fall at my side, ten thousand at my right hand, but it will not come near me.
Because I have made You, Lord, my dwelling place—no harm will overtake me,
no plague will come near my home.
You will command Your angels concerning me, to guard me in all my ways.
They will lift me up in their hands, so that I will not strike my foot against a stone.
I will tread upon the lion and the serpent;
in Your name, I will overcome every threat.
Because I love You, Lord, You promise to rescue me.
You will protect me because I know Your name.
When I call upon You, You will answer me.
You will be with me in trouble, You will deliver me and honor me.
With long life, You will satisfy me and show me Your salvation.
Thank You, Father, for Your faithful promises.
