Summer Harvest 2025 Food Distribution: Dearing Elementary School

Golden Harvest Food Bank’s Summer Harvest program helps fill the gap when school meals are unavailable. During summer break, many children lose access to the free or reduced-price meals they rely on. Summer Harvest ensures Georgia families with children ages 17 and under have access to healthy, nourishing food through convenient local distributions.

WHO CAN ATTEND:
Those families with children aged 17 and younger. No pre-enrollment necessary.

WHAT’S IN THE BOX:
Each Summer Harvest box includes kitchen staples like pantry items, and frozen meats.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
-Distribution starts at 12:00 p.m. and ends at 1:30 p.m.
-For your safety, please remain in your car throughout the event.
-Volunteers will direct vehicles into a line upon arrival.
-Please empty your trunk in advance. Volunteers will potentially place food directly into your vehicle.
