The evening begins with an Advent Study, focusing on “God with us through times of trouble”, which will run from 5-6 pm, with the “Blue Christmas” gathering following at 6 pm.
We know Christmas may not be a cheery time of year for you, as it is for some. Many suffer from personal loss, grief, seasonal depression, and other mental health issues in this time.
We gather together this evening as people in need, as people who are hurting on the darkest day of the year, to support each other, to lift one another up, and to console one another.
Please plan to come with open hearts to share in our collective struggle. If you have not participated in a Blue Christmas gathering, it can be a moving and cathartic experience.
