🚨On August 16, our community will again unite against injustice to 'Rage Against the Regime' with the focus being MELT ICE. This administration has called on ICE and local law enforcement agencies to assist in kidnapping people off the streets and from our communities. They mask their identities and refuse to identify themselves as required by law. They have built concentration camps. They are treating detainees inhumanely. They have forgone due process. ICE has pressured judges to dismiss cases of those going through proper procedures and arrested them outside courts. We will not sit idly by while our country becomes a fascist state. We demand our rights afforded by the Constitution.
🚨We will transform our anger into action, harnessing the energy of collective resistance. Our movement is rooted in non-violence, but it is far from passive. We stand strong, bold, and unyielding, showing the world the unstoppable force of communities united against injustice.
🚨Join us **SATURDAY, August 16** JUST US VOLUSIA: DAYTONA BEACH 50501 will be holding a peaceful, non-violent demonstration on the sidewalks outside Daytona Beach City Hall from 9:30 - 11:30AM. Bring signs, flags, and LOTS of FRIENDS!
🚨A core principle behind all Just Us Volusia events is a commitment to non-violent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values. We are non-violent, peaceful, and LOUD! We do not engage with counter protesters.
